Job Description: Campaign Manager
Location: South Africa
The Campaign Managers primary responsibility is to ensure the successful execution of our client’s digital communication campaigns end-to-end. This includes understanding the client brief, ensuring all elements required for the campaign are in order, quality assurance testing, ‘go-live’, pulling and analyzing reports in order to provide meaningful feedback to your client.
This position has the following areas of focus:
- Account Administration
- Preparing quotes and proposals were needed
- Invoicing of work completed
- Updating of spreadsheets, internal management tools and management reports
- Providing all manner of reporting for customers
- Campaign Execution
- Understanding your client brief and digital requirements
- Ensuring we have all the elements required for the execution of the campaign
- Briefing in of the campaigns to respective internal teams
- Internally communicating the status of a campaign
- Providing regular and informative feedback to the client
- Raising any “red flags” and assisting to resolve issues to complete the work
- Knowledge
- Researching digital communication trends holistically, email marketing trends and building personal knowledge around digital communication
- Understanding and being knowledgeable about our client environments
Candidate Profile
- Understand digital communication principles and practices
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to organize, be structured, multitask, work under pressure and attend to urgent matters pro-actively
- Highly motivated, confident, handle pressure and manage many elements across multiple campaigns
- Logical thinker
- Attention to detail
- Consistency in performance
- Marketing knowledge is required
Requirements:
- 3-5 years relevant working experience in digital communications
- Marketing qualification on NQF Level 5 will be preferable – Diploma or Degree in Marketing with a focus in marketing/commerce/business/communication
- Have proven intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint
