United Water Wins the NAWC Management 2009 Innovation Award Competition with eBilling from Striata and Western Union

The National Association of Water Companies (NAWC) represents all aspects of the private water service industry. The range of members' business includes ownership of regulated drinking water and wastewater utilities and the many forms of public-private partnerships and management contract arrangements. The mission is to promote the value of the private sector as the provider of quality, sustainable, water services and innovative solutions.

United Water eBilling is an electronic delivery strategy where customers receive their bills delivered securely into their email inbox, and make one-click payments, without the need to register online, choose and remember a username or password, or link to any website.
The eBill is an exact replica of the paper bill and also includes the innovative Striata BillPay, one-click electronic check payment facility directly from within the eBill itself, at no cost to the customer. Payments are processed by Western Union Financial Services, United Water's payment processing partner.
